Question on mesmer armor
Is the +15 armor while casting a spell a global increase or just when something hits that piece of armor?

There's been significant testing on this set and it appears that it is a global modifier, allowing the benefit even if just one piece is worn.

Bonuses on armor do not stack. Thus, the +15 to AC for said mesmer armor is a flat boost. The rogues set also has a bonus, but note that is is based on the location of the hit, and so it does matter that the set is worn on the part of the body that gets hit. Regarding testing, there has been extensive testing that was performed and documented on *another site*. I don't think that we're supposed to link to it from here. |

It's never hurt before to post links, even if they're to other sites. I wouldn't think they stacked anyway; that'd be freaky, Mesmers with more armor than Warriors.
EDIT: Yes Mark, full Knight's is pointless. Just have one piece. |
